The 2017 Woman of Distinction scholarship luncheon was once again a success. We wish to thank Linda P. Jeffrey and the community for supporting this fundraiser for Washburn University of Topeka and Washburn Institute of Technology student scholarships. We were able to provide a total of $15,000 in scholarships to area students to assist them in reaching their higher education goals. The luncheon has now funded well over $350,000 in scholarships over the last 35 years.
